	Soft Flow  Community Class w/ John  FREE Soft Flow Yoga Class to the Salt Lake Community on Saturday, May 28th, 2-3:30pm at the 9th & 9th Studio. It's an opportunity to participate in a yoga practice regardless of your yoga experience. Soft Flow is a gentle introduction to a power yoga class. The intention is to be mindful of the breath, proper alignment, and listening to your bod...y. John will focus on side bends, hip openers, and the Sun Salutation in this FREE class. Never been to Centered City Yoga? Want to introduce a friend or family member to yoga? This is your chance! 	Our Neighborhood  a Note About Parking We have received a request from a resident on Lincoln street that we not park anywhere on Lincoln street to attend classes at CCY. Recently, there was an emergency and the fire department could not get down the street because of all the cars. Of course, we are not the only business whose customers park there. But in the interest of keeping the neighborhood friendly and accessible for both residents and businesses, we ask that you park on 9th South, in the lot behind the studio, or at Smith's. Thank you for supporting us in keeping our neighborhood thriving.

	Drum & Dance in rEvolution Studio   Centered City Yoga is hosting Yoga/Drum and Dance gatherings EVERY Sunday afternoon from 2:30-3:45 p.m.  Each week, a CCY staff yoga instructor will welcome you with a variety of talented guests. Here is the schedule for May. Please join us! May 15 w/Lin "Global Soul Movement" to West African and Congolese live drumming. Come and dance with Lin Ostler to  powerful rhythm of the drums. May 22 w/Lin Native American live drumming with movement and dance.  Experienced drummer and dancer Lin Ostler will lead the group. May 29 w/Lucy & James Drumming and Dance Celebration.  Lucy and James will lead some drumming fun, some primal movement and some unscripted play. Never drummed before? Join us anyway.  We'll bring extras. Yoga Week of In Depth Study/Electives  June 1 - 6  These electives are open to yoga teachers, yoga students, or others interested in participating. The price is a very affordable $50 per session, which is a heck of a deal for 4 hours of IN-DEPTH instruction. And that's exactly what we love about this workshop - it's easy on the joints and the long, deep holds make for very happy hamstrings and hips. Saturday 12-2:30pm Open Up (all levels-vinyasa with alignment) Maybe it's time to OPEN UP? To reconsider everything about yourself and your practice. To take your yoga to the next level. To get your arms straight in urdhva dhanurasana and maybe, just maybe press up into a handstand. To laugh in the face of arm balances. To focus on your breath and attempt some of the more challenging poses, just because you can. Saturday 3:30-5:30pm The Inverted, Twisted Soul Sandwich Have you ever wanted to take a big, delicious, yummy bite out of your soul? You know to taste it so fully-everything you are, everything you've got. Now's your chance cause yoga is so much more than bending or stregthening your body. It's learning to bend your breath and to engage your mind. It's learning to see that life tastes delicious. Oh yeah, that's your soul. Sunday 12-3pm Open Wider (intermediate/advanced-vinyasa) Ever consider flying? What about pausing in mid-air or jumping without making a sound? How about breathing deeper, expanding more, or breaking the "I can't" barriers of your soul? Then it's time to OPEN WIDER. Take this part circus show, part mind-altering, part "here are the secrets no one ever told you" workshop and see how the universe takes on an infinite number of finite possibilites. Or maybe just to have that jaw-dropping, I can't believe what I'm doing moment, or at the worst a good chuckle!
